Head of Service HVAC
For an HVAC installer with a family-business culture and the strength of a solid group, we're looking for a Head of Service. As head of department you carry final responsibility for the entire service operation: maintenance, interventions and other service assignments. You stay close to the technology and the customers, but your biggest result lies in making people, processes and cooperation stronger.
What you'll do
- Steer and coach account managers, planners and administrative staff, and deploy the technicians together with them
- Guard planning, capacity, quality and profitability and ensure a safe working environment
- Set priorities when urgency, customer expectations and available capacity collide
- Track KPIs, open assignments and backlogs, analyse results and set up improvement actions
- Handle complex operational escalations and foster cooperation between technicians, planning, administration and other departments
- Report directly to management
What you bring
- Experience in service, maintenance or technical services, and in managing staff
- HVAC knowledge is a strong asset but not a must: experienced service managers from other sectors are welcome
- Insight into planning, capacity, performance and profitability
- Customer-focused, with a strong organisational reflex and the ability to keep the overview
- You dare to have difficult conversations and stay calm under pressure
- You live in the wider Buggenhout area (at most 30 minutes' drive)
