Last indexation: minimum wage database of the Federal Employment Service; for PC 124 the sector bulletin of the ACV construction union (minimumlonen.be, checked on 1 October 2026). Forecasts: Liantis, update of 2 September 2026, based on the outlook of the Federal Planning Bureau. For PC 200 we use the estimate by Acerta. A forecast is not a commitment: the final percentage is only fixed once the official index figure is known. PDF

Why does indexation differ per sector?

In Belgium wages automatically follow the cost of living, but every joint committee decides how and when. That is why a white-collar employee in PC 200 gets one indexation a year in January, a construction worker four small ones a year, and someone in chemicals a 2% rise each time the pivot index is exceeded.

The effect on your own pay differs too. In most committees both the minimum and the actual wages rise; in a few, such as construction and transport, you get the amount of the scale increase rather than the percentage on your full pay. Each detail page states which rule applies, taken literally from the official source.
