AltusConnect is a technical talent consultancy based in Antwerp, Belgium. This privacy policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use our website, apply for a role or get in touch.
Who we are
AltusConnect, based in Antwerp and registered under company number BE 1021.009.429, is the controller responsible for processing your personal data as described in this policy.

What data we collect
Contact details you enter yourself via our forms: your name, email address, phone number, whether you're a company or a candidate, and your message.
Application data when you apply for a vacancy or share your profile: your name, email address, phone number, your CV or LinkedIn profile, your field and preferred region, and any motivation. Applications are also processed in our candidate system, Loxo.
Company data when you request a vacancy intake as an employer: your name, company name, business contact details and the description of the profile you're looking for.
Technical data your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address, for the correct operation and security of the site.
Why we use your data
To answer your question or get in touch (legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest).
To handle your application and match you with suitable roles (legal basis: taking steps prior to a contract and our legitimate interest as a recruitment partner).
We never use your data for purposes incompatible with the above.
Who we share your data with
Loxo, our applicant and candidate system, which processes application data on our behalf.
Resend, the service that delivers the messages from our forms to our team by email.
Vercel, the party that hosts our website and processes technical data such as IP addresses in doing so.
Companies we introduce you to, only with your consent and in the context of an application. We never sell your data to third parties.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data no longer than necessary for the purposes above. We retain application data for as long as it's relevant to your search, and delete it afterwards or at your request.
Cookies
Our website sets no cookies at all: no tracking, marketing or analytics cookies, and no third-party cookies either. That's why you don't see a cookie banner here.
Your preference for light or dark mode is stored locally in your own browser (localStorage). It contains no personal information and never leaves your device.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and port your data, and the right to object. Send your request to hello@altusconnect.be; we'll respond within the legal term.
Not happy with how we process your data? You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority via gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
