Why AltusConnect exists
AltusConnect was founded in Antwerp in 2025 by recruitment professionals with combined experience in technical consultancy and talent placement. Over those years we kept seeing the same pattern: hiring that revolves around the number of CVs forwarded, while employer and candidate are both looking for something else.
You don't choose technical talent on keywords. A strong match requires someone who understands the role, can place the technology and dares to say honestly when something doesn't fit. That's why we have the conversation first, with the company and with the candidate, before a single profile is introduced.
We deliberately chose to focus on technical profiles: engineering, operations, automation and commercial-technical roles. That's where we know the market, the role content and the salaries, and where a specialised partner makes the biggest difference.
Antwerp is our home base, the Belgian technical labour market our working field. From there we build something that outlasts a placement: relationships with companies and professionals who come back because the previous match was right.
