Centenindex calculator: your pay after indexation
Since 1 June 2026 you no longer get the full indexation above 4,000 euros of fixed gross pay. Enter your salary and your sector's percentage and see at once what is added and what is not.
Centenindex calculator: what your indexation yields
Enter your fixed gross monthly salary and the indexation percentage of your sector. The centenindex caps the first 2 percentage points at €80 of €4,000; everything above counts on your full pay.
At 4.32 percent your gross pay rises by €151.20 per month, to €3,651.20.
You are at or below €4,000, so the cap does not apply: you get the full 4.32 percent.

How the centenindex works
- The measure applies to the fixed full-time base salary above 4,000 euros per month. Bonuses, meal vouchers and variable pay do not count towards that threshold. Part-time pay is converted to a full-time salary.
- Only the first 2 percentage points of the indexation are capped: that part yields at most 2 percent of 4,000 euros, so 80 euros gross, even if you earn more. Everything above those 2 percentage points is applied to your full salary.
- If you earn 4,000 euros or less, nothing changes. The scheme runs in two periods: the first since 1 June 2026, the second from 1 January 2028 at the earliest, with a threshold that is indexed by then.
The calculator works gross. What remains net depends on your family situation and statute; the gross-to-net calculator covers that. The percentage for your sector and the date of the next indexation are on the indexation pages per joint committee.

Frequently asked questions
Does the centenindex apply in my sector too?
Yes, the measure applies across all sectors and statutes, at the first indexation after 1 June 2026. The moment differs: PC 200 indexes in January, metal and chemicals on their own dates.
Is the 4,000 euro threshold calculated on my gross pay including bonuses?
No. The threshold looks at the fixed full-time base salary. Shift premiums, meal vouchers, bonuses and other benefits do not count.
How much do I lose through the centenindex?
That depends on your salary and the percentage. At 4,500 euros and an indexation of 4.32 percent the difference is 10 euros gross per month; at 6,000 euros it is 40 euros. Above the first 2 percentage points you get the full indexation.
