AltusConnect was founded in Antwerp by recruiters with experience in technical consultancy and talent placement. They saw how recruitment often revolves around the number of CVs sent, while employer and candidate are looking for something else. That is why we stick to technical roles, where we know the content of the job and the pay.
How an assignment runs with us
Every assignment starts with an intake about the technology, the team and the package. Then we approach professionals ourselves, including those who are not actively looking, and we talk to every candidate before passing on a name. A profile never reaches you without the candidate's explicit consent, and after the start we remain the point of contact for both sides.
What we do not do
We do not do temporary agency work: we work on permanent hires, freelance assignments and project sourcing. Nor do we ask for exclusivity, so you may fill the same vacancy through other channels at the same time. How the fee is put together is explained on the page about how we work.
The steps of an assignment
- Vacancy intake. We discuss the technical context, the team, responsibilities, salary, must-haves and desired timing.
- Market approach. Active search, network outreach and selection of professionals relevant to your role.
- In-depth screening. We assess experience, technical knowledge, motivation, availability and salary expectations.
- Selective shortlist. We only introduce candidates who have been interviewed and have given their consent.
- Guidance and follow-up. We support interviews, feedback and the offer, and follow up after the start.

What is a technical recruitment agency?
An agency that only fills technical and technical sales roles and therefore knows the job content, the installations and the pay ranges. The difference with a generalist agency lies in the screening: a technical agency can judge whether someone can really handle the machine, the PLC platform or the customer.
Do you work across Belgium?
Yes. Our base is Antwerp, but we recruit for companies in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia. The city pages describe what we see per region and which vacancies are open today.
Do you also supply temporary agency workers?
No. If you need a temporary worker through a temp agency, we are not the right address. For a permanent employee, a freelancer or a project assignment you can come to us.
How do I start an assignment?
Through the intake form on the page for companies. You briefly describe the role, after which we schedule a conversation to go through the vacancy and its feasibility together.
