DCS System Administrator
As DCS System Administrator at a critical production installation in Halle, you manage and improve the distributed control system (DCS) that runs the process. You join an established employer in energy production and process automation in Flemish Brabant on a permanent contract. You keep configuration, users, backups and patches in order and resolve system alarms, communication problems and performance issues. Experience with DCS, SCADA, industrial networks or OT systems is your starting point.
What you'll do
- Manage the configuration and the users of the DCS
- Take care of backups and patches and keep the system documentation up to date
- Analyse system alarms, communication problems and performance issues
- Prepare changes to the system and test them in a controlled way
- Guide the implementation of changes on the production installation
- Work with process, maintenance, cybersecurity and external suppliers
What you bring
- You hold a bachelor's degree in automation, electronics, IT or electromechanics
- You have experience with DCS, SCADA, industrial networks or OT systems
- You work methodically, both in daily administration and when making changes
- You are safety-minded in an industrial production environment
- You are willing to take part in a standby rotation
