Field Technician Turbomachinery
As Field Technician Turbomachinery based in Beersel, you inspect, overhaul and analyse turbines, generators and large rotating machines on projects in Belgium and abroad. You join an established employer with expertise in energy and turbomachinery on a permanent contract. You dismantle and accurately measure components, analyse wear and vibration problems and advise on repair and lifetime extension. Regular travel to international projects is part of the job.
What you'll do
- Dismantle and assemble turbine and generator components during inspections and overhauls
- Inspect components and measure them accurately
- Analyse wear, deviations and vibration-related problems
- Coordinate the technical work with the client, experts and contractor crews
- Write a clear service report after every intervention
- Advise on repair and on extending the lifetime of the machine
What you bring
- You hold a bachelor's or technical degree in mechanics or electromechanics
- You bring strong practical experience as a technician
- You have experience with rotating equipment and precise measurements
- You have experience with site safety and apply the rules consistently
- You are internationally mobile and client-focused
- You communicate professionally in English and also in Dutch or French
