Head of Quality Systems and Continuous Improvement
At a biopharmaceutical production site in Waterloo, as Head of Quality Systems and Continuous Improvement, you lead the GMP quality system and the improvement programmes around deviations, CAPA, changes and audits. You work directly for the manufacturer and report quality risks and priorities to site leadership. You build a culture of compliance and continuous improvement, in which processes become simpler without weakening GMP robustness.

- Define the strategy for quality systems, governance and performance management
- Lead teams within quality systems and continuous improvement
- Steer improvement programmes around deviations, CAPA, changes and audits
- Analyse quality trends on site and translate them into priorities
- Report risks and priorities to site leadership
- Simplify processes without losing GMP robustness
- Strengthen ownership of quality within the teams on site
What you bring
- You hold a master's degree in life sciences or engineering
- You have extensive experience in QA and in a leadership role
- You have in-depth knowledge of GMP quality systems
- You are familiar with inspection environments and their expectations
