Junior Automation Engineer PLC and HMI
As a Junior Automation Engineer in Roeselare, you program and test PLC logic and HMI screens for machines and production processes. You start on a permanent contract with a West Flemish employer active in industrial automation projects. Basic knowledge of Siemens, Schneider or Rockwell is enough to begin, because experienced engineers coach you and you get the opportunity to earn certifications. Through varied projects you grow towards project responsibility.
What you'll do
- Program PLC logic according to the functional analysis
- Build HMI screens for machines and production processes
- Test the software internally before it goes to the client
- Support commissioning on site at the client
- Analyse faults and carry out controlled software changes
- Produce technical documentation and work with electrical and process engineering
What you bring
- You hold a bachelor's degree in automation, electromechanics or electronics
- You have basic knowledge of Siemens, Schneider or Rockwell
- You are interested in industrial networks
- You are eager to learn and have strong logical thinking skills
- You are willing to work on site at the client from time to time
