Lead Engineer Instrumentation and Control

In Anderlecht we're looking for a Lead Engineer Instrumentation and Control for a direct employer in engineering for energy and the process industry. In this role you lead I&C engineering for investment projects and safeguard technical coherence across the full project cycle. You get a clear set of responsibilities, short lines to colleagues and partners, and room for your own initiative.

What you'll do

  • Define architecture, design criteria and specifications for instrumentation and control
  • Review engineering deliverables, vendor documents and functional analyses
  • Coordinate interfaces with process, electrical, mechanical and cybersecurity
  • Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and technical risk management

What you bring

  • Master's degree in automation, electronics or electromechanics with extensive I&C experience
  • Knowledge of DCS, SIS, instrumentation, industrial communication and standards
  • Coaching technical lead with strong project and stakeholder skills
