Process Engineer Utilities and Automation
A strong player in automated food production is looking for a Process Engineer Utilities and Automation for its team in Waregem, on a direct permanent contract. In this role you optimise utilities and process control for energy, water, cooling and steam. You get clear ownership of your own files and work with internal specialists, suppliers and operational colleagues.
What you'll do
- Analyse process data, consumption and control performance and identify losses
- Work out optimisations together with automation, maintenance and production
- Supervise testing and commissioning of new measuring points and control strategies
- Standardise dashboards, alarms and operational work instructions
What you bring
- Master's or bachelor's degree in electromechanics, energy, automation or process technology
- Strong in data analysis and interested in utilities, PLC/SCADA and continuous improvement
- Pragmatic, project-minded and fluent in working with operators and technicians
