Senior Automation Engineer PLC & Industrial Automation

What you'll do

• Analyse complex machine and automation breakdowns and solve them for good through root cause analysis
• Modify PLC and HMI controls, frequency drives, safety components and electromechanical installations
• Detect, work out and implement improvements to the machine park
• Lead automation projects from analysis to testing and handover
• Draw up and maintain electrical and pneumatic schematics and technical documentation
• Share your knowledge and support less experienced engineers

What you bring

• Bachelor or master in automation, electromechanics, electrical engineering or related
• Several years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in a production environment
• Strong PLC programming skills, with experience in Siemens and/or Beckhoff
• Experience with PLC, HMI, drives, safety components and electromechanical installations
• Strongly analytical, you read and draw electrical and pneumatic schematics
• Fluent Dutch; English and/or French is a plus
• Experience with industrial robotics and BA5 is an asset
