Breakdown Technician Nights
As a breakdown technician on the fixed night shift in Waregem, you keep the automated production lines of a food manufacturer running. You work directly for the manufacturer and resolve electrical, mechanical and pneumatic breakdowns quickly and independently. You troubleshoot sensors, motors and frequency drives and coordinate a safe restart with production. You also record root causes and initiate structural improvements.
What you'll do
- Analyse electrical, mechanical and pneumatic breakdowns
- Also investigate process-related breakdowns on the production lines
- Carry out urgent repairs during the night shift
- Coordinate a safe restart with production after a repair
- Record causes and actions and initiate structural improvements
- Support preventive maintenance during planned shutdowns
What you bring
- You have technical training in electromechanics or extensive relevant experience
- You are strong in troubleshooting sensors, motors and frequency drives
- You also track down mechanical problems quickly
- You work independently during the night shift
