Technician Runway Lighting and Control Systems
In Machelen, as a Runway Lighting and Control Systems Technician, you maintain and repair the lighting and control installations that safe airport operations depend on. You work directly for an employer in airport infrastructure, in a regulated environment. You carry out preventive maintenance, measurements and functional tests and track down electrical and electronic faults. You take part in planned standby duties and support technical projects in the field.
What you'll do
- Carry out preventive maintenance on runway lighting and control installations
- Perform measurements and functional tests on the installations
- Locate electrical and electronic faults in the installations
- Repair installations safely and in line with the procedures
- Record your interventions and report recurring defects
- Put forward improvement proposals based on your findings
- Take part in planned standby duties and support technical projects in the field
What you bring
- You have a technical diploma in electricity, electromechanics or electronics
- You have experience with industrial installations and measuring equipment
- You are strong in fault analysis on electrical systems
- You are safety-minded and stay calm under pressure
- You are willing to work in a regulated airport environment
