Technician Freight Wagons
In Beveren we're looking for a Technician Freight Wagons for a direct employer in maintenance of rail vehicles. In this role you inspect and repair freight wagons so they return to service technically compliant and safe. You work closely with internal specialists and operational colleagues, with room to shape the role yourself.
What you'll do
- Inspect undercarriages, brakes, couplings and wagon structures
- Carry out mechanical repairs, replacements and adjustments
- Document findings and determine the repair method together with colleagues
- Perform final checks and strictly respect railway and workshop safety
What you bring
- Technical training in mechanics, welding, electromechanics or equivalent
- Practical mindset and interest in heavy rolling stock
- Reliable, physically active and willing to work outdoors
