Maintenance Technician Day Shift
For an international food manufacturer with several filling lines in Zoersel, we're looking for a maintenance technician on day shift. Preventive maintenance of the production installations is the core of the job, alongside maintenance of the building and the utilities. You join a stable employer that supplies retailers and brands worldwide and has a family atmosphere. You work full-time on day shift, with a permanent contract.
What you'll do
- Carry out preventive maintenance on the production installations, the core of the job
- Help maintain the building and the utilities on site
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical breakdowns and fix them properly
- Keep downtime to a minimum so production keeps running smoothly
- Work to a maintenance schedule that is aligned with production
- Respect the standards for safety, hygiene and food quality in every intervention
What you bring
- Solid mechanical as well as electrical knowledge and skills
- Experience with maintenance in an industrial production environment
- You like to work preventively and think ahead to avoid breakdowns
- Flexible, with a collegial attitude towards the rest of the team
- Dutch as your working language, although it does not need to be perfect
