Senior Project Buyer
As Senior Project Buyer in Beveren, you lead complex tenders for technical works, equipment and long-term contracts in energy projects. You work for a direct employer in energy projects and technical procurement in the Waasland region of East Flanders. You develop sourcing and contracting strategies with the project teams, lead the negotiations and monitor contract risks, claims and supplier performance with an eye on total cost of ownership.
What you'll do
- Develop sourcing and contracting strategies together with the project teams
- Manage tender documents for technical works and equipment
- Carry out commercial evaluations and negotiations with suppliers
- Manage contract risks, claims and change management
- Follow up the performance of suppliers
- Report savings, progress and market developments to stakeholders
What you bring
- You hold a master's or bachelor's degree
- You have extensive experience in project procurement or technical purchasing
- You are strong in contracts, negotiation and total cost of ownership
- You are decisive and work with integrity
- You speak Dutch and English fluently, and French is a plus
