Team Leader Workforce and Capacity Planning
At the Deinze site of a food producer, you build robust workforce planning as Team Leader Workforce and Capacity Planning, balancing production volume, competences and wellbeing. You schedule permanent and temporary staff for the short and medium term and align staffing with production, HR, training and interim partners. Using Excel and planning tools you follow up absences, competence matrices and capacity risks, and you improve forecasting and reporting.
What you'll do
- Build short and medium-term schedules for permanent staff
- Include temporary staff in the planning as well
- Align staffing levels with production, HR and training
- Work with interim partners to fill temporary capacity
- Closely follow up absences and competence matrices
- Monitor capacity risks and flag them in good time
- Improve forecasting, planning rules and reporting on deployability
What you bring
- You have a bachelor's degree in logistics, HR or operations, or relevant planning experience
- You are strong in Excel and in working with planning tools
- You keep the overview when many parameters change at once
- You are people-oriented and take employee wellbeing into account
- You work accurately in every schedule you draw up
- You communicate clearly with managers and employees
