Three tips for your logistics team leader job ad

  1. Name the WMS and the way of scanning. A team leader used to a modern system does not like stepping back to paper.
  2. Write how big the team is and whether temporary workers are part of it. That decides what the job looks like every day.
  3. Give experienced warehouse staff who are ready for the step a chance in your vacancy too. The bottleneck lies in combining leadership with WMS knowledge, not in motivation.

Is it a bottleneck profession?

Yes. VDAB lists "Logistiek verantwoordelijke" on the 2026 list of bottleneck professions.
