Process Engineer Process Industry
In the Ghent canal zone, as Process Engineer Process Industry, you work on the complex process installations of an international industrial producer. You develop improvement projects, guide technical studies for modifications and extensions and ensure safe start-ups. Along the way you move smoothly between engineering, production and the shop floor, with process safety and technical standards as your constant reference.
What you'll do
- Develop improvement projects from concept and basic data to execution
- Follow up your improvement projects after execution
- Draw up technical datasheets, process documentation and design requirements
- Guide studies for modifications or extensions of production installations
- Take part in risk and safety studies
- Translate control measures from those studies into technical solutions
- Support commissioning, operator training and the start-up of installations
What you bring
- You hold a master's degree in industrial engineering, preferably in chemistry, process technology or electromechanics
- You have relevant experience in an industrial production environment
- You have practical knowledge of process safety and technical standards
- You are familiar with following up technical projects
- You speak fluent Dutch and English
- You work proactively and take initiative independently
