Production Leader Power Plant
As a Power Plant Production Leader in Beersel, you head a shift team and are responsible for safe, reliable and efficient energy production. During the shift you set the operational priorities and take the decisions on process deviations, breakdowns and maintenance interventions. You work on a permanent contract for an employer in energy production, on a 24/7 continuous shift pattern. The role is open to technical bachelors and masters and to experienced process operators who want to move up.
What you'll do
- Steer the operators of your shift team
- Set the operational priorities during the shift
- Take decisions on process deviations, breakdowns and maintenance interventions
- Safeguard safety and compliance with work permits
- Monitor the production planning and the environmental limits of the plant
- Coach your team members in their daily work
- Analyse performance and actively look for improvement opportunities
What you bring
- You have a technical bachelor's or master's degree
- As an experienced process operator, you can also grow into this role
- You have strong process insight into energy installations
- You have proven leadership in a critical environment
- You are decisive and communicate clearly with your team
- You are willing to work 24/7 continuous shifts
