Safety Advisor Level 2
On a large logistics campus in Geel, as Safety Advisor Level 2, you strengthen the safety culture among people, machines and traffic flows. You work directly for an employer in distribution and automated logistics. You carry out workplace inspections, risk analyses and incident investigations and advise operations on machine safety, ergonomics and contractor work. You are a level 2 prevention advisor or willing to obtain that qualification quickly.
What you'll do
- Carry out workplace inspections and risk analyses on the campus
- Investigate incidents and look for the underlying causes
- Advise operations on machine safety and ergonomics
- Advise on the safe execution of contractor work
- Develop training, campaigns and practical safety standards
- Use data to recognise trends and propose priorities to leadership
What you bring
- You are a level 2 prevention advisor or willing to qualify quickly
- You have experience in logistics, production or a comparable operational environment
- You are visibly present on the shop floor
- You have a coaching style and bring people along in working safely
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English
