Team Leader Water Treatment
As Team Leader Water Treatment in Waregem, you steer the operational water treatment of a food site and safeguard continuity, environmental compliance and teamwork. You work for an established direct employer active in industrial water treatment in the food sector, in West Flanders. You monitor flows, analyses, chemicals, sludge streams and discharge conditions and coach the operators in your team.
What you'll do
- Plan the staffing, checks and maintenance of the water treatment
- Follow up the process operation of the water treatment daily
- Monitor flows, analyses, chemicals and sludge streams
- Make sure the discharge conditions are always respected
- Coordinate breakdowns and improvements with utilities, maintenance and environment
- Coach operators and report on performance, risks and actions
What you bring
- You hold a bachelor's degree in environment, chemistry or process technology, or equivalent experience
- You have experience with water treatment, utilities or industrial process operations
- You have leadership skills and enjoy steering a team
- You approach process deviations in an analytical way
- You are willing to be reachable for operational matters
