Three tips for your prevention advisor job ad
State which level of the prevention advisor certificate you need, and whether you let someone take the additional course. That way candidates select themselves correctly.
Write to whom the prevention advisor reports. Candidates want to know whether management genuinely backs safety or sees it as a box to tick.
Say in which sector the experience is needed. A prevention advisor from construction looks at risks differently from someone who spent years in chemicals.
Is it a bottleneck profession?
Not listed as a separate profession on the VDAB list 2026. That does not mean you will find someone quickly; see the hiring page.
