Conditions and payment
- In PC 111 provincial and regional collective agreements set the end-of-year premium. The amount, reference period and conditions therefore depend on the province where your company is located.
- Everywhere: if you did not work the full reference year, you get the premium pro rata.
- Since 1 July 2015 you are also entitled to a pro rata if you resign yourself, and when your contract ends because of permanent medical incapacity.
- In the subsector for assembly of bridges and steel structures the premium is 8.33% of the annual gross wage.

Why do I keep so little net of my end-of-year premium?
Because after 13.07% social security the withholding tax for exceptional remuneration is deducted, which is higher than the withholding on your ordinary pay.
