Nuances from the agreement
- Agreement of 29 June 2023: the sector minimum premiums are fixed amounts per hour, expressed in a 40-hour week. If you work fewer hours a week with pay maintained, the premium is raised proportionally: 0.85 euros in 40 hours becomes 0.8947 euros in 38 hours (example from the agreement).
- The amounts follow the sector index: at every crossing of the pivot index they rise with the wages. The sector fiche of 14 July 2025 gives the April 2025 level; after later indexations the amount is higher. Your union publishes the current figure.
- These are minimums. More favourable company systems are kept, and in most chemical companies the company agreement sets a higher premium.
- If you work in successive shifts on a Sunday or public holiday between 00:00 and 06:00, that work is paid at 100% above the ordinary wage (agreement of 4 May 1977).
