How to read this table
- Category I is the unskilled worker, I A the first unskilled, II the trained worker, II A the first trained, III the skilled worker first degree and IV the skilled worker second degree.
- Ploegbaas A (team leader A) leads skilled workers of the first degree, ploegbaas B those of the second degree; the meestergast (foreman) ranks above them.
- The amounts are gross hourly wages in the 40-hour week, to three decimals as the sector sets them.
- Construction wages are indexed every quarter. The increase is calculated on the minimum wage: if you earn more than the scale, the amount from the second table is added to your actual hourly wage, not the percentage.
- For team leader A, team leader B and the foreman the increase of 1 October 2026 is limited by the cent index, which applies to pay above 4,000 euros gross per month.
- Students: 16.175 euros per hour, unchanged on 1 October 2026.
